Veena Ravi has been collecting dolls for 20-25 years and has recreated the underwater city of Dwarka using over 6,000 Dasara figurines at her home in Basavanagudi. Every year, a new theme is curated using the figurines to depict different stories from Hindu mythology. This year's theme is Dwarka, the holy city that is said to have been submerged under the Arabian Sea as Lord Krishna left the world. The annual family tradition has become a local attraction with about 100 visitors per day during Dasara. Preparation for the display begins months ahead, with the figurines being carefully arranged starting in August to ensure every detail is perfect.
